Bivouac Chégaga In The Moroccan Desert:
The bivouac is 60 km from the village Mhamid, to reach the bivouac it takes 3 days on camel or foot, and 2h 4x4.
The bivouac is located at the foot of the dunes of Chégaga the biggest dunes of Morocco at 350m of altitude. The bivouac consists of 20 tents made by the nomads. They are made of goat or dromedary hair and a mixture of wool, reinforced with a wooden frame. They are equipped to receive 2 to 4 people each and to provide you the maximum comfort.
The floor is covered with thick carpets, beds, mattresses. Covers and sheets are provided. The tents are not connected to electricity, small candlesticks provide you with the necessary lighting. As well as 4 showers and 4 toilets with warm water heated using solar panels, which ensure you a 220V power supply to charge your batteries, appliances.
